I had the honor and great pleasure of being Nina and Henrik's wedding photographer yesterday. The weather was perfectly sunny (for the wedding couple and guests that is :-). The entire day was not only meticulously organized but turned out, well, perfect: a great program, an intimate atmosphere with an interesting international guest list, tasty food, beautiful venue out in the archipelago and funny and emotional speeches. Amazing! Here is a quick sneak peak of the wedding portraits I took of the model-like newly weds after the ceremony. Much much more to come!

I started working full time on a project for Civil Rights Defenders this fall so I am doing photo sessions only weekends, at least this fall.

I don't know much about yoga but Saija from Yogapoint is incredible, she does the most amazing things with her body! I was so impressed I had trouble not to forget to press the shutter-button :-)

So we made some photos for her website and publicity. Not all poses are finished yoga poses but were picked because I just like the action in them. Here is a selection:

I made an attempt at combining work and family when I took Benthe with me to the studio yesterday. Only problem being that Benthe wanted to be in the photo half the time! So here are some shots of her and her friend Liam. I should probably consider sending in the 'smoothie-photo' to the company who makes them, who knows we can get some free smoothies out of it!

What a great way to get back to my studio photography after a three week vacation, I had the most lovely and very international Australian/Canadian/Swedish family (including Australian/English grandparents) over in my studio this afternoon. Doesn't 7-year-old Michaela look like a real model? And those beautiful curls! Michaela and 5,5-year-old Kieran reminded me of myself and my brother at that age, playfully teasing each other. This is Nina and Oliver's third photo session! The first was a maternity session, the second when Oliver was just three weeks old and last Thursday I took Oliver's 4,5 month old portrait. Oliver was in an incredibly good mood, it hardly took any time to take lots of nice shots. It is so nice to have returning customers. It makes it possible to make follow-up photos like the collage with Nina jumping while pregnant with Oliver and the other one with Oliver in her arms.

My daughter Benthe and her friend Sofie got their first haircut together today. I think they cut about 7cm of Benthe's hair (the idea was to even it out a little). I took some photos to document this big event (both Camilla and I were a little nervous :-) Aw, I think they look so cute!

After having noticed several of my photos on different kind of forums (which is really the best feeling :-) I decided to add an extra free service when I do a photo shoot. I will be adding versions of the photos on the client CD which have been edited specifically for the web. This way the photos will not only look better but will also be copyright protected and protected against downloading.

Leticia's Stockholm Photo Shoot

Yesterday I did a fun photo shoot at home and on location (cold, grey, snow!) with the lovely Spanish Leticia. Leticia is a psychologist who started up her own business in Spain and in Stockholm. She needed two B&W pictures for her website (www.lifecoaches.es and www.piensapositivo.es) and several photos for Top Canarias, a Spanish magazine which will feature an article on her and her business - which has attracted quite a lot of attention in a short time - in January. I have updated my blog a bit but I have so many more photos. It is a serious work in progress! For now I have focused on the studio portraits with children though there are several portraits from this summer and autumn missing. Portraits taken on location will follow later on.

I also have a couple of photo sessions coming up. The first one will be taking place next Monday on location in Stockholm and the results will be published in a Spanish magazine. Another one is a pregnancy portrait.

Sunday, October 11 2009. Despite feeling poorly I went on to do a big family shoot in the studio today. Seven children and seven adults. And I shouldn't forget to mention Stella, the very photogenic dog. It turned out to be a lot of fun but also quite a technical challenge (trying to fit fourteen (!) people on a 3m sized standard background).
